- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have been patient of Dr Hackworthy for over thirty years and she diagnosed my mitral valve problem and started me on medication for high blood pressure. Up until five years ago, I had no further problems but since then I have had five cardioversions. The last time I was admitted to the emergency ward of Tomaree, she insisted that I have another one as I was in atrial fibrillation and do not handle it well. I doubt I would have had that procedure had she not been notified. She is very thorough and does not rush consultations, explains everything and writes it all down. In addition to having her for a specialist, her husband is involved in the practice to carry out echocardiograms if needed.
